Heng Yu is a Hong Kong based company, with a strong R&D center in our Hong Kong headquarter and powered by our own modern production campus in Zhuhai (Guangdong, China). The two offices are linked up together by the world’s largest and amazing bridge over the sea.

Heng Yu is specialized in the design and manufacturing of professional input devices, robust displays and terminals, together with some innovative and indispensable host software, providing you a real turn-key solution.

Our products are widely used in the Banking and Financial sectors, Retail and Hospitality services, Airlines, Medical Care and Hospitals.. We have many successful stories since our establishment in 1990 and have built up a strong global network through our long term partners all over the world since then.

Our History

1990 – Set Up by our founder – Mr. Chan Hung Fuk

1990 – First mechanical keyboard launched for Banking industry in China

1992 – Encryption pinpads launched for Banking industry in China

1994 – Awarded the Best Computer Peripheral in China

1995 – Started to build ECR high quality keyboard matrix

1996 – Appointed by China Tax Authority as the designated keyboard manufacturer for Tax invoicing system

1998 – Started to build first POS programmable keyboards

2001 – Our own production plant built

2002 – Invented the first generation of full travel membrane key (FTMK) to build the high quality, spill-proof keyboards for lottery and retail markets.

2004 – Second generation of the FTMK key technology launched

2005 – Started to design the first touch monitor (12″)

2006 – Third generation of the FTMK key technology launched

2007 – Invented the world’s first serial interfaced customer display with 7″ and 8″ TFT screen

2007 – First product checker and Professional Digital Signage solution launched

2008 – First medical keyboards with backlit options launched

2009 – Product Checker (PC801C) was awarded the “TOP PRODUKT HANDEL 2009” in Germany

2010 – Easy Digital Signage solution launched

2011 – Digital menu and Full solution (including software) on digital signage for Retail and Hospitality launched

2011 – KVS terminal with robust metal bump bar keypad launched

Our Design Services

All Heng Yu products are designed by a team of in-house capable engineering staffs. Heng Yu provides a complete range of value-added design services for OEM customers, ranging from contract design to original product design to original design manufacturing.

Heng Yu offers product and enclosure design in both plastic and metal, design and development services for prototype and production tooling, as well as complete PCB design and software development services. Our experienced engineering staff can review customer requirements and respond with product concepts quickly. With our turnkey solution, you can greatly reduce the delivery time for your product to the market.

Quality Assurance

Heng Yu focuses on continuous process improvement to deliver highest achievable quality in a most cost-effective way. ISO-9001:2008 and ISO-14000 certified manufacturing facility ensures our strong quality assurance system is properly maintained. Quality initiatives are keys to our success and are integral parts of our every phase of process starting from design and development until shipment and after-sales services.

Heng Yu can devise a customized quality inspection and testing plan for our customer based on the functionalities and complexity of the products. Heng Yu can also help customers to apply for all necessary testing approvals for the products at our local authorized testing laboratories.

Heng Yu also has many in-house test and compliance equipment to maintain and assure our highest possible quality of our products. These testing equipment include life cycle test machines, abrasion test machine, electrostatic discharge gun, cable twist testing machine, temperature and humidity chamber, and burn-in chamber.

All Heng Yu products will have 100% in-line routine functional testing and visual inspection. Heng Yu will also perform out of box audit on every shipment. All products under Display Devices and Terminals category have to further pass a burn-in test inside our temperature chamber of 45 Degree Celsius.
